First Parliamentary Breakfast – 7th March 2023
In early March, Head and Neck Cancer Australia – HANCA – headed to Canberra for its first parliamentary breakfast debate. Twice cancelled owing to COVID, the presentation was delivered by HANCA CEO Nadia Rosin, supported by Mike George (Larykins), Lora Winter, Graeme Lewsey and Usha Salagame. The event was hosted by Deborah O’Neill, Senator Michaelia Cash, and Kylea Tink for North Sydney, Co-Chairs of the Parliamentary Friends of Cancer Care and Cure Group.
The presentation focused on educating attendees on the challenges facing head and neck cancer patients and raising funds to provide education and support for cancer patients, their families and carers.
