Our battery supplier has advised that the price of their batteries will increase, commencing 15 May. For members that purchase electrolarynx batteries through the LANSW, the price will remain the same until our stocks are depleted.
When we purchase new stock, we’ll advise of any price increase at the time of your order.
“Master Instruments would like to inform you that we will be issuing new pricing for our complete range of products effective for orders received on or after Thursday 15th May 2025.
In addition to recent inflationary cost pressures, most businesses have found it hard to control overhead costs from transport, insurance & energy price hikes. In addition to this we have seen increasing cost of living pressure and slower than anticipated interest rate reductions due to a distinct lack of deeper structural government reforms. The politicians have expanded the number of bureaucrats which seems well out of touch with any understanding of current business & individual burdens.
Our price stability has been excellent with no change since August 2023 in geopolitically unstable market conditions. Master Instruments regrets changing our prices, and any adjustment is due to currency movements, increases in labour, logistics costs and commodity price changes (Lithium, Lead & Nickel), all of which has been impacting our cost base significantly enough to warrant a move in our wholesale prices. Our aim is to always be competitive in our offer to you so please do not hesitate to let us know where we need to be buying better.
As a result, prices have been adjusted dependant on these input effects to the costs of the products. We have endeavoured to absorb as much of these costs as possible but inevitably do need to pass costs on within the confines of our sustainable margins.”
