John Chaloner (LANSW Life Member) recently received an email from Dr Fary Ahmadi of Laronix laryngectomee devices. Laronix is developing the world’s first smart wearable electronic voice prosthesis for laryngectomees. Bionic Voice substitutes and regenerates the missing “voice source” for laryngectomees.

Dr Ahmadi states in her email, “We have some good news! Laronix now can benefit from NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) to support lary friends with providing devices and services. We are now looking for laryngectomy friends who have NDIS coverage to start testing our product. … We are working on other reimbursement programs coverage as well, but we can start helping people with NDIS shortly.”
