Committee Approves Funding to Sustain Branch Activities

The Committee is pleased to announce funding support for the Hunter Valley Branch, ensuring its activities remain strong despite rising costs.

The branch has faced increasing expenses for food and activities, which placed pressure on its fundraising efforts. After reviewing the situation, the Committee agreed that support was both necessary and in line with the Association’s mission to strengthen our community.

Thanks to steady returns on the Association’s term deposit, we are able to apportion some of this interest directly to benefit members. As a result, the Committee has approved a $5,000 contribution for 2025 and a further $5,000 in 2026. Future support will be considered once the term deposit is renewed in 2026.

This decision reflects the Association’s commitment to managing funds responsibly while ensuring members and branches continue to receive meaningful support. The Hunter Valley Branch can now look forward to continuing its valued program of activities for members in the years ahead.
